Today I swapped the motherboard and processor in my pc from an amd fx 6100 with an msi 990xa to an intel core i7 4770k and an asus sabertooth z87. Upon turning my new system on we cannot launch any operating system, I do have windows 7 home premium 64 bit but I cannot seem to find a solution to my problem, if any of you do know a solution will I lose any of my files?

Will there be any chance of me losing my personal files at all?

There shouldn't be, The windows installer should recognize the previous windows install and save all the personal files (and some other stuff) in the root of the C drive in a folder called "windows.old"...you can always back them up though just in case

I have now installed windows but keep getting BSOD crashes, usually when the CPU is under load but it has happened when I was shutting down and installing some windows updates.
