I've planned a build on part picker.com however it says that there may be an issue as according to the automatic issue detector, AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using vishera cpu's. I don't really understand how to do this because I thought you install or update your drivers after you turn your pc on so the only way I could think to do this is to buy a separate processor install that and use it to install drivers then use the one you want? Is that it and if so I would just change this.

From the asus website, I can say that you don't need the BIOS update to use the fx6350, because the MB need at least the 1006 version to run the fx6350, that BIOS came out on 10/22/2012.

With that board you don't have to worry. Even if, let's say, the board is too old and the BIOS version does not support the CPU, you can use the Flashback to update the BIOS.
