System Specs:
Processor: AMD 4300 Quad-core processor 3.80 Ghz
Ram: 8 GB
Graphics card: Geforce GT 610

Buying this PC a few months back I thought it would a good machine to play minecraft and other low graphics games like Gmod. After seeing BF4 come out i decided i would buy it and see if my PC could run it, even on lowest settings it runs at about 15-20 fps. I want this computer to be able to play more modern games like BF4 but i dont want to buy a brand new computer. I was wondering what could I upgrade to boost performance. P.S. sorry if i posted in wrong section, this is my first time using this website. Thanks!

What's your power supply? Model/maker please needs to be of a good quality to upgrade your GPU, it's probably not big enough atm rest of pc is bareable. Also where are you from and how much money can you spend? This will help us help you

Yeah without details of PSU, intended display resolution, or a vague idea of what you have to spend, random speculation is a bit pointless.
If you are currently using a $90 CPU and $30 graphics card, I'm guessing that you probably aren't looking to spend the $250-350 people are throwing around.

It's definitely the graphics card that needs to go. It's not a gaming card at all, but honestly most modern GDDR5 cards will give you some measure of performance in games. Even something as basic as a HD7750 will give you playable framerates in most modern games if you tweak the settings as appropriate. Obviously the more you have to spend, the better, PSU permitting.

Okay I got into my PC and looked at the PSU, i think it is 500w (im not completely sure here is pic http://imgur.com/MBH4Fbk ) My current display resolution is 1600x900. I would like to stay on the lower price side but i am willing to spend 200-275. It is a CyberPower PC and the model is a CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA380. And i am located in the U.S.
