Hey guys,

Want to build a budget gaming pc for a friend and first I wanted to go with the AMD(68,-) but then I saw the pentium(50,-). wich one will be better for gaming especially in the games red orchestra 2/rising storm, warthunder and arma 2 dayz mod?
I'm going to pair it with the hd 7850 and 4gb of ram.

When going for the amd card I'm going to use the Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3(50,-)
Can buy a 50,- board when going for intel with 4gb extra ram or a board for 70,-

For those games, I am going to suspect that the Pentium G with 8gb of ram will be the better buy. I would make sure to get a Haswell based one, so you have an upgrade path to a better CPU later on. What is the budget for CPU/MB/Ram/GPU. Make sure also you have a quality PSU.

Would there be a big difference between the two?
I'm getting a haswell but I'm sure the only thing my friend will update in the future would be ram so the upgrade path doesn't matter.
I have selected a good psu from seasonic.

This is the build(netherlands site)link

when going for intel what mobo for 50,- do you suggest?

Edit: the intel build would probably look something like this link

I would recommend getting a better CPU at a later date regardless of system you build. Both are pretty low end CPU's. Problem with the board you chose for the AMD build is the fact that FM2+ is replacing FM2 soon. If you don't get an FM2+ board, you are essentially stuck. There are FM2+ boards out there and FM2 cpu's will work in an FM2+ board. FM2+ cpu's will not work in FM2 boards. I often recommend AMD on here, but those games look like they will have fairly poor multicore support. Haswell is better in such situations. Here is another option. It costs a little more, but I am unsure of your budget here. The CPU is far better than either you have been looking at.

The board I selected for the amd is a fm2+ motherboard.
And I know the fx 6300 is a great budget cpu but my friends budget is not big enough to fit in that cpu and I thought It was much better to get the hd7850 instead of a much weaker one with the fx 6300.
The games my friend is playing arn't that heavy so I thought the budget cpu would do a good job.
(I also made an intel build in the second post, dont know if you noticed)

I missed the Intel build link. I often suggest AMD builds on here. I think that, in this instance, the pentium G build is the way to go.

I don't exclude the fx 6300 build yet because the psu was counted double so it was 500,- instead of something around 450,- but I think I would switch to a 970 chipset board. Or do you think the board you selected will work fine?
EDIT: there arn't any micro atx 970 so will go for the one you selected if the price is okay

Would this build if my friend is okay with the price be the way to go?

If you go 970, you will need an ATX case. I only went with the M-ATX board because of the M-ATX case.

Already edited my post when I saw there werent any(probably when u were typing your awnser)

And damn you're good was thinking of the exact same mobo when going for the 970 but since I dont want to make this build more expensive I'm probably going with the gigabyte.

Do you think you would get a big increase of fps when going for the fx 6300 instead of the athlon?

The FPS difference should be significant. The 750k is actually slower than a PhII X4 965 at the same clock speed. The lack of L3 cache hurts the FM2 chips just like it did the AM3 Athlon II's.
