Hey guys, my PC temperatures are so high booting up pc into bios and monitoring cpu it starts off normal at 30 degrees ~3500 RPM 5 - 10 mins in cpu is at 51 degrees mb at 41 fan speed over 6000?! I opened up my case and ALL components were extremely hot.

Asrock 980 mb
Fx-6300 cpu
Stock amd cooler
500w silverstone psu
7790 GPU
Bitfenix shadow case came with one big fan at the back and one at the front.

Also when I was trying to re apply the cpu again i accidentally smudged sone of the thermal paste but there was still a good amount?

These components are all brand new.

the stock cooler itself isnt that good but you also most likely destroyed the paste underneath which needs to be re applied

Alright so if it was the paste at fault wouldnt only the cpu heat up not every component inside?

well everything gets hot, i would say you large fans arent really pushing enough air through your case, and also your board is a 4 phase design so your vrms will be getting hot with that cpu as well.

41 is normal for a board temp, there should not be a "good amount" of paste there should be as little as possible to get the job done, and you should not be checking temps in the BIOS you should check them in windows at idle

the idle temps are not accurate at all, these cpus are only accurate under load unless you are just talking about the mobo
