i currently have a 20" 60 hz lg monitor and am thinking about going to a 120hz or higher led monitor and need some recommendations. i mainly play fps games, mostly bf4.

system specs:

evga gtc770 4g
i7 2600k 3.40ghz
8g corsair vengeance 1600mhz
2 tb hd
750w corsair psu
asus p8z68 vlx

I can't tell the difference between 120hz and 60hz, at all. But whats more important to you, image quality or performance? Also whats your budget?

I am using an "cheap" asus IPS and loving it. I upgraded from a 60hz tn panel and I felt no difference in input lag or tearing, latency or anything really.

Huge boost in viewing angles though.

Do you play at a competitive level? If not I would recommend and IPS panel. Faster panels won't make you better.

Thanks for the input guys. I basically play bf4 mp but I'm not really looking to break the bank and I'm just a decent player looking to get more performance and quality. I recently upgraded my video card and psu and want to take it to the next level. I don't compete or anything like that and under 300 would be optimal. I wanna max the potential of my rig visually and performance wise as well and this is one of the last pieces. Plus something that will be around for a new pc down the road. I've heard a lot of good things about benq monitors
