I have a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD that was used on an old laptop that BROKE. It has the laptop's OEM Windows 7 installed on it and everything else.
Long story short. I am building a desktop PC finally.
I plan on using the used SSD on my newly built PC with a newly bought version of Windows 7.
My only concern is that do I need to wipe the SSD before using it with my newly built PC? Or can I plug it in and just install the new Windows 7 using the CD and will it just overwrite the SSD?
Thanks if you can help me!
