Hi

I recently installed a graphics card in my pc so I can start gaming and tried to install Skyrim, I had no problem installing the game, but it just does not launch, no start screen of any kind, the mouse just shows the busy icon for 1 second and nothing happens. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd be doubtful if the 610 can even run that game, it's not a real graphics card for gaming, you will need at least a 440, 540 or 640 to run any games.

However; in the Control Panel should be a search control panel field at the top
Type "Event"
Should pull up the "View event logs"

Click on Windows Logs -> Application and there should be "Skyrim.exe" listed and the error code.

Eitherway; return that GPU and pick up a 640. You cannot run games on it.

Hi, thanks for the help, I downloaded the game from a different site and installed it, it runs perfectly in high graphics with no lag from the 610 gpu. Thanks again for the help.
