You cpu 3770k is built to be overclocked. but you need proper cooling devices (preferably liquid cooling) to keep your system from getting overheated when you overclock. As long as you have them, you can overclock safely.

I have a corsair H50 liquid cooler with both of the fans for the radiator, and a cooler master haf X case. I was careful with the cooling when I built this system (my second). Thanks for the concern though :D
