Hi, have replaced my old Belkin router with an Asus RT-N56R router and have set it up. Our ipad, iPod and iPhone all connect to the new wireless router fine, however our PC with an Asus USB-N13 for wireless connection will not connect to the router. It worked fine on the old Belkin router and can connect via iPhone hotspot to the new router but not directly. PC error messages mention DNS which I have flushed. Thoughts on how to resolve

Maybe in your network settings you're PC has a DNS static IP address that is wrong. Did you assign your computer a DNS address or is it just on automaticl? I assigned my DNS servers to be 8.8.8.8 (Google's open DNS server).

When you setup the new asus router did you name your new wireless SSID the same as your old one. If so I would go into Control Panel then network and sharing center and then change adapter settings I believe was the area for wireless. Make sure you don't have a profile made for that wireless connection from the previous router. If so erase it and start fresh. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Yes firmware updated after initial set up.

I've have made some progress in the last few minutes where I can now ping my router after setting both PC and router DNS to 8.8.8.8, however cannot load a basic web page currently
