I got the Asus P8Z77-M and trying to see what is giving me BSOD when it is at the windows logo. Tried using a flash drive to fresh install windows but also gives me BSOD at the windows logo. I used to have gigabyte mobo and it worked fine but until it short circuited. Trying to see if this g skill ram is compatible with the Asus P8Z77-M. It is G.SKILL F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL. It wasn't listed in the manual so I wasn't too sure...

Did you try in slot 1 or 2, possible a bad stick, have any other DRAM you can try with - if same result would eliminate RAM
