  6. I had the same problem after updating Cyberlink PowerDVD11 -> Version 12..
I disabled the driver and then re-enabled and rebooted .. issue has disappeared .. I figure if it returns, I would remove the Cyberlink update .. but it hasn't come back yet ..
  7. I have the same problem & after a lot of tried I finally can solve it!!!!
Just follow my steps, hopefully works for you.

    1) Download & install driver pack solution (this is the latest app at my time):
    http://kickass.to/driver-pack-solution-14-r410-final-supports-windows-8-8-1-rtm-t8866939.html

-the program will automatically detect & install what drivers needed.
-install all the drivers except driver for intel & amd graphic.

    2) Download & install intel graphic card:
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=3719&DwnldID=23714&lang=eng&iid=dc_rss

    3) Download & install driver for amd graphic:
    http://www2.ati.com/drivers/13-12_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe

    Finish!
    - All work fine. Shutdown, restart, sleep and smooth when playing the games :)

    * I prefer don't update the drivers.

**If it not work, i suggest you to reinstall your windows and then follow the step again.

  11. Guys got the solution

I did this on my Inspiron 15R 5537 with AMD 8850M on Windows 8.1

    1.Update the Bios version to A08 link : http://www.dell.com/support/ho...

2.Uninstall display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller in SAFE MODE
( After performing Step 2 once again check 'Device Manager' and 'Control Panel', If you find any Intel or AMD graphics driver uninstall it manually)
3.Install Intel Graphic Driver from Dell ver 10.18.10.3308 link : http://www.dell.com/support/ho...

    and restart

4.Install Latest AMD Mobility Catalyst 14.4 from AMD support site link : http://support.amd.com/en-us/d...

    and restart

5.Open CMD as Admin and type " powercfg -restoredefaultschemes "

6.Download and Open AMDEnduroFix_DX9 and click apply Fix and restart link : https://docs.google.com/file/d...

    7.Enjoy.

no sleep/Hibernate problems and gaming performance is very good.

The name in Device Manger will be AMD R9 M265X but ignore it. Don't worry

I'm using Inspiron 15R 5537 so i posted BIOS update link for 5537... If you are using some other model like 3537 or something you enter your service tag number in DELL SUPPORT SITE and download BIOS A08 Update... This really solved my problem so guys take this solution and tell me the result... :) :D

I've a same laptop with same problem. I would like to check your solution but the link provided is incomplete. so could you please give a complete links of the given solution.
  16. Hi, I have used his laptop before. Now to be clear this laptop uses dual graphics. Means the graphics card only works when you allow it to be used and the intel graphics are still needed for the normal functioning(intel can work without amd but not vice versa) . Apparently other softwares won't detect your graphics card because its a normal mobile video card and not a graphical processing unit. I ran a lot of tests and updates but to no avail. The only thing that proves that the video card is functioning is that you can play games that require 'dedicated' graphics. But performance wise the laptop is not good. I currently use a hp laptop without a dedicated graphics card which provides twice the frames on a browser game.
  17. Hi I got a Dell inspiron 17R 5737 from Futureshop recently and am also having these problems. Why they put this damn product in, that is screwing everything up is beyond me. I've taken it to futureshop twice, I think the guy just re downloads the driver and installs it and it works for another week. I'm not a gamer, I just want to be able to display the desktop on the TV, and also be able to adjust brightness. I thought I would try and do it myself, but I'm not exactly sure which driver to download. Why when I go to device manager does it not even show the AMD Radeon graphics card. Some of the previous solutions just seem a bit too confusing for me. My 7 year old dell is working better than this new one, what the hell!!! Well I shouldn't necessarily say that...when I am able to turn it on and view on Tv... aside from the long start up time... Ive been quite pleased. I just wish it didn't keep happening. Any ideas. Oh and in device manager intel graphics has a exclamation point symbol...yet says that the best driver is installed. I realize its to do with the AMD....but just say it.
  18. Hello guys I have finding solution to the sleep/hibernate problem in my laptop, Dell inspiron 15R 5537, AMD radeon 8850 m and Finally I got it working all smooth! With all my games working at the highest setting , no lag no delay all set and fine.

All you need to do is :
    1. Downloaded these 2 video drivers on the Dell site for the Inspiron 5537 from here : http://www.dell.com/support/home/in/en/indhs1/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=CGR4G File Name:Video_Driver_CGR4G_WN_13.201.0.0_A01.EXE -----> this is for AMD

and also download the Intel drivers from here : http://www.dell.com/support/home/in/en/indhs1/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=Y3FHH&fileId=3394571394&osCode=&productCode=&categoryId=VI File Name:Video_Driver_Y3FHH_WN_10.18.10.3308_A01.EXE

There is also a alternative version for Intel 4400 (Version 10.18.10.3316, A02) , but it does not work with this machine, I tried it but it didn't work , so don't waste time downloading this version instead download the one I specified before.

    2. Download the DDU soft ware( Display Driver uninstaller)

    3. Reboot Windows 8.1 in Safe Mode and run DDU which will remove your all Drivers, Intel as well as AMD. Now restart the pc in normal mode.

    4. In normal Windows mode - Install the Intel 4400 HD driver from Dell's support site ( link above in point 1). My version is 10.18.10.3308. Restart windows

    5. In normal Windows mode, installed the AMD 8850 driver Version 13.201.0.0, A01, from the Dell support site ( link above in point 1). restarted Windows

    6. On restart to normal Windows mode, I now have only two drivers in Device Manger - Intel HD Graphics Family and AMD Radeon HD8850M

I just checked and it goes into sleep mode (e.g. via shutting down the lid or singly hit of the hardware start button), and resumes properly as expected using a single click of the hardware start button..

I also checked that after 5 minutes in my case, when the laptop goes into sleep mode by itself after inactivity., it resumes with a single click of the hardware start button.
The Sleep hibernate and FPS of games works perfect now!

Hope this works for u guys!
  19. 6.Download and Open AMDEnduroFix_DX9 and click apply Fix and restart link : https://docs.google.com/file/d...

    thiw link iw broken
  20. I have tried everything still got problem in gaming in my dell 15r 5537
  21. all the links provided above are broken.
please tell me any fix if available.

i have inspiron 5537 and amd driver is not getting installed - everytime it says installation failed.

i have updated the BIOS - no go
tried to install the driver from support site and amd official site - no go
  22. update to Win10, works for me.
First install Win10 as update to Win8/8.1, than do a clean install.
After that I was suprised but I had both cards drivers already installed.

Cons: probably something wrog with energy usage, because it was drained pretty quick (3h vs. 5 h earlier) and I suppose it's graphic card issue
