HI.. I recently installed a new MSI GTX 770 and am not sure if my Corsair VS650 PSU is giving it enough power?

The packaging on the MSI (minimum requirements) states that, it requires one 12V rail with 42A and 2 x 8 pin PCI E "supplementary power connectors". IT also states the card requires minimum 600W power.

My PSU came with one main PCI E connector in a 6+2 pin format and an extension leading out of that also, in 6+2 pin format? I have therefore connected the main 6+2 pin connector and the extension leading out from it also, a 6+2 pin to the card thereby filling all 8 sockets. Is this ok/correct?

The packaging on the VS650 box states +12V=50A and -12V=0.3A. It shows the 'Maximum Combined Voltage' under this as 600W. Is this just barely meeting requirements or am I short? The MSI pkgng states 'minimum' one 12V with 50A rail so, does this take care of it or am I still under-powering my card?

Any feedback appreciated. Tks.

Solution
You got 50A on your 12V rail, so it provides up to 600W. And the GTX 770 takes up to 230W on its own. That leaves 370W for everything else which is much more than enough.
Because many people use crappy or unbranded PSU's that do not provide as much power as claimed, and the need to consider some people running lots of other stuff in their PC.

A PSU is practically only as good as its 12V rail(s). For example your 650W PSU really only produces 600W on the 12V rail.
