ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2 - ALL-IN-ONE AM3+ MOTHERBOARD , ON-BOARD CORE UNLOCKER BUTTON I'm on a tight budget ill be using the fx6300 cpu with 8gb ram and the R9 270x cpu with it and what psu will I need to run this setup ? Thanks

any good quality 500 watt psu will do just fine. go for seasonic S12 520Watt. Its perfect and also costs less.
The motherboard is okay for tight budget but lacks ver 3.0 of PCI-E (has 2.0). but that will not hamper your gaming performance if you are not eying for high end gaming.

650 Watts is more than enough for the specs you've mentioned. It will run fine even with a good quality lower wattage PSUs, (anything above 500 Watt). As far as the brands are concerned, try to select a PSU from either tier 1 or tier 2 of the following list to be sure of the quality:

With R9 270x you will be able to play most of the games at hd resolution with medium-high settings at decent fps. its a very good mid range card.
