Screen resolution issue

I bought the gtx660 and have started using hdmi instead of vga to connect pc to 1920x1080p hdtv but the screen is really blurry and the display is too large for the screen. The drivers are up to date and the resolution for the monitor is 1920x1080p and I've tried changing it but it just gives an even worse resolution. What can I do?

Yeah, I've tried unplugging them and did a clean installation of the drivers

that has fixed the issue with the display being too large but it is still very blurry

Grab the remote again. Play with the various sharpening settings. On my TV I had to crank it down to 30 (default was 50) or lower to get rid of the weird artifacts that make it look like the text is doubled.

Remember, this is a TV that's meant for large images, not fine text. Some fiddling with settings will be necessary.
