Hello i am planning to build a new rig because my old one is pretty outdated :/(Celeron dual core 2.4 Ghz 2 gb DDR2 ram 3xxx radeon ) soo yeah you get the idea.

My build would be for gaming but for editing things asswell soo here is what i am going to do :
A. Fx 8350
970 MoBo
1TB Segate Barracuda
8 gb Corsair Vengence 1600Mhz
and aAmd Radeon R9 280x
Hyper 212 evo
B. i5-3570k
z77 MoBo
1TB Segate Barracuda
8GB Corsair vengence 1600Mhz
and Amd Radeon R9 270x
Hyper 212 evo

Soo as you saw the diference is in the proccesors and the GPUs in the amd build the GPU beeing better....
I really dont know what to do :/ so help me because i am confuzed in this setups because Intel fanboys say stay AMD is poop and AMD Fanboys say that Intel is to expensive
i need the opinion that is not like that :D

Solution
The AMD option.
1) It'll be better for video editing
2) Good enough for gaming
3) Much better GPU, and that's what makes the biggest difference.

If it was a purely gaming CPU comparison then I'd say the i5, but for your needs the FX would be the better choice and you'll be getting a better GPU.

Both AMD and Intel are good companies, but the FX 8350 does have a higher clock speed and I believe it is cheaper. Personally, I'd go with an i5-4670k. I use it, and it's powerful enough and offers excellent performance in all other aspects. It really comes down to what you need.

Performance vice would AMD System be better in performance (but not in cpu "single core" performance like older or newer games like Skyrim, "multithreaded" apps like video editing and newer or future games that allows highly multithreads, is better)
from 270X to 280X is also better...
I also own AMD FX 8-core system
(don't get a mobo that has lower than 8X2 VRM phase controller, lower will likely downclock cpu when stressing cpu, one mistake I have had with Asrock FX990 Extreme 3, it has 4X1 VRM and will be overheated in stress, will then downclock)
Get a mobo that has 8x2 VRM Phase

well buy the fx 8320 and take it to levels of fx 8350 and save the money for future or invest that into a better gpu say r9280x.. or stick to the r9 270x.. besides i read somewhere probably in Linus tech tips that a very good r9270 can be OC"ED to the levels of r9270x so you can look at that too. you can go for Asus m5a97 r2.0 it's great board for the price or asrock extreme 4 if you can lay your hands on one.
