Hello,

I have a one year old rig now with the PSU failing soon. Well not really one year, the only things that have remained are the motherboard (GA-970a-DS3) and CPU (FX 6100). Now I have a GTX 760 (replaced a 650). Recently my computer has been restarting when playing BF4 on high settings with the GPU reaching a MAX of 70.0c. The restarts show no blue screen and seconds later proceed to the motherboard splash logo, leading me to think my PSU is starting to go. Which isn't surprising considering it is an Apevia PSU, Apevia being known for cases, not components. Anyways I will be upgrading to the FX 8320 (I see no REAL need for the 8350 as it is 11% faster) and I was wondering of a good PSU to accompany it. Hopefully one that won't fail. Pricing is not a HUGE factor.

Current rig (With upgrades in brackets)
Motherboard:GA-970a-DS3
GPU:ASUS Direct CU II OC GTX 760
CPU:FX 6100 @3.3GhZ stock (Upgrading to FX 8320)
RAM:HyperX Blue 16GB's @ 1333MhZ
HDD:Seagate 2TB Barracuda Drive
PSU:APEVIA ATX-AQ700W-BK 700W ATX12V-http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

A Seasonic G/Rosewill Capstone 550-650w has a good balance between build quality/electrical performance and price.

There a lot of trusted brands in power supplies like Seasonic, XFX or Corsair (except for the CX Series). Be sure to pick a quality one, with a good certification and, if possible, modular cabling. I think that Seasonic have a 5 years warranty on their products. Worth taking a look.

You didn't tell us your budget, but I suggest you go check the Seasonic G Series or the new XTR Series from XFX. If you have more money to spend, I'd also recommend the X Series from Seasonic.

I would say that the highest I would go for a PSU is around $80

Seasonic G 550w or Rosewill capstone 550w is at your price range, if you really want to save money go for a XFX 550w.

The Seasonic G Series 550W is currently 85$ with free shipping on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00918MEZG/?tag=pcpapi-20

This would be a great unit for the price, considering the price without discount is around 120$. It features a gold 80+ certification and modular cabling. It will help reduce the clutter inside your case and improves airflow in the same process.
