Will this build work, and how long will it last?

Hello everyone,
So i have finally become fed up with not being able to run games on an old laptop so I have decided to get a PC.

I had a look at some pre-built PC's but they seemed overly expensive, considering the specs on some of them, so I have decided, that with some help of some friends and family, I would build my own PC.

I have got some parts in mind, but before ordering them I would like some advice on whether or not these parts will actually all work together (pieces fitting in case, motherboard supporting future upgrades, etc.).

I am in Australia, so sites like newegg and amazon don't actually work for me, not to mention they are a pain when it comes to warranty claims. I will be using this for some heavy gaming and a bit of multi-tasking. (Crysis 3/BF4 while having youtube, plus office etc. in the background) Anyway, here is what I have found.

CPU: i7 4770K
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme3 LGA1150
RAM: GEIL Dragon RAM 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
HDD: Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200RPM
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780 GV-N780OC-3GD
Case: NZXT Phantom
PSU: Silverstone ST85F-P 850W
Optical: Samsung SH-224BB
OS: Windows 8.1 Student Pro

As for the CPU, I have heard of the i5 4670k but I am comfortable with the i7. I am not too comfortable about the RAM as I have not heard of it before, is this a good piece? I am planning on buying more RAM at a later stage. As for the HDD, I don't need too much space, but I am planning on sticking an SSD in there for a few games and the OS. I am very comfortable with the 780. I have looked into the 290X and the 780ti, but they seem to be far to expensive for their extra performance, at least in Australia.

As for the case, will this fit everything, and will I be able to add another GPU at a later stage (maybe a few years down)? For the PSU, I know it is good enough for this build plus if I wanted to add another GPU, but is it a good enough PSU in general or do I risk it just breaking within 2 months? I don't think I will be using the optical drive too often, so blu-ray doesn't affect me much to be honest, but will this one work otherwise?

Alright so here are the main questions:
1. Will my motherboard support everything?
2. Is my RAM good enough, or should I look into something else?
3. Will my case fit everything, plus another GPU down the road?
4. Is the PSU good enough?

Thank you very much for reading through that :)

This is my first build so I am sorry if I don't understand some of the technical stuff. I think I should be able to get it and I have done a considerable amount of reading, so I'm not clueless :)

Thanks

Solution
In order of your questions.

1. Yes, that motherboard should have enough Pci-e slots for all your possible needs even tri SLI. Sata and fan headers are also in abundance.

2. 8gb of ram is fine. I recently bought another two sticks of 4gb (each) from a relatively no named brand ( Team Vulcan) because it was on sale for 43 bucks. Runs fine no issues.

3. Yes, you could shove everything you could think of in that phantom.

4. An 850w psu will give you plenty of headroom for your current build. You could even add another 780 to it and put them in SLi and it would be stable.

1. Yes your motherboard supports everything
2. Your ram is fine, if you want that extra insurance in quality get Kingston, Corsair or any of the leading RAM companies
3. Yes the NZXT Phantom is a Full Tower case and is quite big. Everything should fit fine
4. Your PSU can handle everything that you have included, plus more.
