If you want to go to 8.1, this method might work:

doesnt work, iff i come at the first screen when i enter my product key it says that my product key cant be used to install windows 8.
i think its cause it was pre installed on my pc. and i found my product key with a program called belarc advisor.

If Win7 drivers are available for the hardware, go for it.

but the tricky thing about this is that u cant downgrade windows 8 to 7.. atleast that is what i read. and the product key that i have from windows 7 is from my laptop but that wouldnt be any problem i think.

i just wanna know for sure that iff i replace my motherboard and install windows 7 that it works. cuz then there is no way back

Ah. Well....the Win7 from your laptop is almost certainly an OEM license. That license is technically tied to that laptop motherboard.
It might, or might not activate with a different board. You might have to call MS, and activate via either the phone robot, or a human.
They might, or they might not, allow that new activation.

And if so, that renders the install on the laptop null and void.

Let me look around some more about creating a Win8 install disk.
