Here is my computer...
iBUYPOWER AMD FX-Series 16GB DDR3 2TB HDD Capacity Desktop PC Windows 8 Gamer Extreme NE635FX

It doesn't have wireless internet (I don't think any desktop comes with it) I know there is an adapter to get wireless internet on it. I have Netgear as my internet provider. How do I get wireless, and what do I need?

additional info: I have installed 16gb of extra RAM to it. (saying this just because there could be issues with the power supply I think)

I am at a basic level of knowledge of computers, so please don't make it overly complex.
Thanks

Solution
Yes it works on Win 8.1 and also on Win 7 (the one I listed) - you will need the correct drivers from the manufacturer's website - install the drivers from the CD and then update them from the site.
Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums!

What you need is a "Wireless Adapter Card" that plugs into the appropriate PCI slot on your motherboard. An alternative is to use a USB Wireless Adapter which plugs into any available USB port on your computer.

I use this in one desktop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124342

and this in another desktop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320113

and this type in 2 other desktops: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320113

Do you know of any that have a USB on them. I'd rather not have to open up the computer because I'm paranoid that I'll accidentally break something.
