Reinstall Windows without disk

I have an emachine laptop which came with Windows 7 (no disk) I tried to restore it to factory settings now it's stating "Windows cannot complete installation. To continue installing Windows, restart the computer." I restart the computer get the same message and it won't get pass the start screen even in safe mode. What do I do I can't afford a new laptop and only have had this one for a year.

More about reinstall windows disk
  1. On the bottom of your laptop should be the windows COA. A 25 alpha-numeric code that is your physical license.

Do you have a friend or relative you could borrow a Windows 7 disk from?

You could also download a legal ISO of windows from the internet and burn it to a disk in order to get the media for a reinstall.

Are you referring to the product key code?
  3. Yes. It will be a label on the bottom of the laptop ( colored green and white with the microsoft logo on it )

You can get a restore disk set from eMachines support, I think it's about a $20-30 fee for one.

You'll have to get the right version of Windows to match the CD Key on the system also, but you can get the right download once you get the version you have.

Just post it here and we can get you the right link to use.
