Hello guys, I recently bought an AMD A8 laptop from Lenovo. Well, the specs are pretty good but the performance isn't as expected. The problem is specially visible while playing games when plugged in to a power source. When I play on the battery, the games seems to go smoothly but when I need to play while connecting the laptop to a power source, I seem to notice considerable degrade in performance and also FPS. The games seem to be lagging more when plugged in than on battery. I need help guys to improve performance when plugged in. Thank you

My anti-virus software is configured not to run when on battery power.
That often means that when I plug it in to the wall, several process start up and begin consuming resources.
I probably have other applications configured the same way, but I haven't bothered to track it all down.

You may have the same thing happening.
For my machine, I leave it plugged in for a while to let all of those processes finish up their work before starting a game.
It seems to work for me.

Well, i don't think those are the issues. I have searched extensively over the internet for the same issue and found out that many of them who bought the Lenovo Essentials G505s notebooks are suffering the same. I think the way the motherboard is configured maybe an issue.

thank you guys ... sorry for the late replies because I was having my exams so couldn't get the time to reply. I downloaded the Updated Bios patch and it worked for few days but again now I seem to have some lags in my gaming performances. It doesn't seem to be an overheating issue. Any suggestions?
