I've been doing up my really old laptop that I won in a competition in 1999 because I want to see how fast it is if I max it out. I've put WinXP Pro on it and installed a brand new hard drive. It can hold a maximum of 256MB ram but what's the difference between these three that I found?

256MB PC133 144 pin SODIMM 16x16 (ABP)
256MB PC133 144 pin SODIMM 32x8 (AAT)
256MB PC133 144 pin SODIMM 16x8 (AAQ)

16x16 - 32x8 - 16x8 ??? any difference in speed?

It has two dimm slots so will it run faster with 2x128 or 1x256?

It's kind of satisfying putting all this new hardware in it for so cheap. I was very young when I got it and knew nothing about computers. I was so frustrated that I couldn't install XP because there wasn't enough ram. I didn't know what that meant. I spent hours and hours on it and there was never enough space with a 2GB hd so now with the 40GB HD I picked up for $10 it's kinda cool helping out the old me....
