i was installing the amd processor fx8-8320 processor on an ga970a-ds3p, and found it very hard to get the clips in place to secure the cpu to the motherboard.
i finnaly got it on, but now the lever, to release the clip wont release...so im assuming ive connected it wrongly..
so, should i just leave it secured as is, or should i go back and try and reset it so that the lever works.
and also, becuase i had to connect and remove the gpu a few times before i got it on the processor, perhaps i should just start again, and clear off and re-apply the thermal paste?
any advice appreciated.
