Re-installing windows 7 without the disk or product sticker?

So I'm attempting to re-install windows 7. I don't have the disk, so I am downloading an .iso and burning it, then re-installing from said disk.

Here's the problem;

I've been following this guide: http://www.pcworld.com/article/248995/how_to_install_windows_7_without_the_disc.html

Thing is, my computer was custom built and shipped to me. (cyberpowerpc.com) After 2 years I replaced the case and, being not educated enough to know that it has my windows product code on it, I threw sticker away with the case. Using a Keyfinder program, I now have a key. But, according to this comment:

"...Using (keyfinder) to find your product key may not always be a good idea - when the large OEMs set up the hard drive, they use vendor-specific key that is the same on every drive and is only valid with a specific set of installation files. In a case like that, you definitely need the product key off the OEM sticker on the machine..."

I may be in a tough spot. So IF this code the keyfinder gave me is the kind of code mentioned above, approximately how boned am I?

Solution
I cant see how the 5x5 code cannot work. If it has been pulled off your o/s, a re install should work with that code.I cannot think of, nor have come across, a time when it didnt. I have used other peoples retail disks and changed the code to o.e.m.,and vice versa in my time;whatever was handy. As long as you use pro for pro and home for home it should work. If you are really worried, try it on a spare hard drive first. And you can use ccleaner to fix up your old install, it is much faster than starting from scratch.
I have a vendor specific key with several 100 copies left unused, but Afraid I cant give that out. ;#{
And that code has worked with every disk we have ever tried.The source of the data files is irrelevant.

if you use magical jellybean and you find a code that looks like
XJ83M-OL3XP-2USKC-P1GYU-M77YC it will work.
If you find a code that looks like 1009-134500- k1234567
it wont. Try another code finder until you get 5 x 5 alpha numeric code.
I am assuming this pc is yours, btw. If its stolen a curse on your house.

o.e.m. copies of windows 7 pro (system builder packs) cab be found on feebay if you get nowhere.

Yes, Magical Jellybean gives me the 5x5, 25 digit code. That was never the issue. What I'm saying is, I am concerned about the possibility of the key not working since my computer was built by CyberPower. I have no idea if that would make it a vendor-specific key. Thanks for the info about feebay though. I'll check that out.

Btw, if you do ever have to go feebay, get 7 home premium, its cheaper and there is no difference except with pro being able to access your home pc from work without using some other program,and being able to use 192 gig ram. Unless you need the work thing it isnt worth any extra.

If it's an OEM disk, the OEM key should work. If not, contact cyberpowerpc for support. Microsoft does not support OEM builds of Windows.

You will need the same version of the OS that was installed on the system originally (Pro, Home Premium, Home Basic, etc...) for the key to work.
