is this a good computer for basic gaming?

Solution
Definitely fine on everyday use. I've never played Minecraft, but that system is solidly higher then Minecraft's recommended (i.e. not minimum) requirements, except for the RAM amount, which matches the recommended setting. It otherwise looks good to me. I know Windows will eat up around 2GB of your RAM at any given time, and if Minecraft takes up say 1-1.5GB of RAM when it's going, that doesn't leave you much room to muiltitask very well fyi, for example if you like to have a lot of browser windows open or something while you play. But RAM can easily and cheaply be upgraded if it's a tad low (you just snap a stick into place on the motherboard, very simple to do). Don't know though if it this particular computer is a good/bad...

you never know what type of material is installed inside that box until you receive it. Make your own gaming pc which leads to better material and better configurations of components that you will be installing.

Don't know though if it this particular computer is a good/bad deal in this price range, though Lenovo's are generally well regarded.
