I have installed the corsair H60 and its working wonders on my temps, going down to around 25 degrees, however the noise is awful, I can hear it wurring away from downstairs. I have played around as much as I can in the BIOS but nothing seems to work, the speed the fan is set to is 4500RPM. Does anyone know the best way to change this? I've searched endlessly and not found a direct answer. My mobo is the Z87-Pro. Appreciate any help you can give me.

Does it have a 3 pin or 4 pin connector? If 3 pin, then it's not controlled by the BIOS.
An option would be connecting it to a SYS_fan header and disabling the warning in BIOS, but in this case the fan speed would not be controlled based on the CPU temperature sensor.
Another option would be using a fan controler.

yes is a 3 pin. u mean a cha fan ? cause my mobo dun have a sys fan . may i no where can i buy a fan controller ? if i purchase a fan controller , could i monitor my pump speed through bios ? because i wanted to use fan xpert to control my fan speed but my cpu fan is always at 0 rpm so fan xpert will alway run my cpu_opt fan(radiator fan) at 100% which is very loud .
