Faulty GPU or PSU

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section or if the information I provided is inadequate, but I'm not 'that' certain of some of the brands since I bought it premade.

Hi I am using a Dell Inspiron 660 with
i5-3330 @ 3GHz
1+2 TB HDD seagate
8 GB ram
Seasonic M12II 500W PSU [only like 6 months old]
MSI GTX 560TI [newly RMAed 2 months ago]

A few days ago after a long gaming session the computer just randomly rebooted without warning. I tried booting the game a couple times again but after a couple minutes of gaming it'll auto reboot. (The temperature of the GPU was at 85 degrees like it usually is, didn't seem like any out of the ordinary). Then now when I start the game the computer just reboots the moment it sounds like the GPU seems to draw any power and then after I'll lose signal to my monitor and the GPU sounds like the fan is at 100% for a couple seconds during the start up. And it'll take a couple of reboots to get back the signal.

I swapped out the GTX 560ti for much lower power Radeon 6670 and the computer seems to work perfectly again. I was dead sure it was the GPU's fault, but I've looked up a couple similar cases and every solution has been because of a faulty PSU. At this point I'm not sure if it's a faulty card or if my PSU is not giving enough power to the GPU.

Solution
It could overheat that quickly if the fan is incorrectly mounted on the video card, or if the thermal paste was incorrectly applied. It could also be that your card is (over)clocked too high for its capability. You should monitor and log your temperatures and clock speeds, try GPU-Z or HWiNFO.

Seasonic is not a bad brand, so I would figure that it definitely be your GPU! 85 degrees seems like a bit much for the 560ti, I would turn your fans up if I were you. It might be hotter right before it crashes, so you should check your temps.

Probably your card is just overheating. Happened to me all the time with my old 7870; my pc would just shut off/restart without warning, I turned my fans up and the problem was solved :) . What model of the card is it? (Twin frozr or hawk?)

Thank you so much for your responses. However, I really don't think it's a case of overheating anymore. It's auto rebooting even when my GPU is on idle before. I mean I idled the computer for a couple hours (temp is normal), then I open game (the fan starts powering up and everything), but before anything happens the computer just reboots and my monitor has no signal after.

I don't think it'll rise in temperature that quickly right?

edit: Also I'm using the MSI GTX560ti - m2d1gd5 for the full model
