Should i save up for a GSync Monitor?

Solution
Fair enough. But part of it will be taken from the VESA standards: from what I've read, the display port interface will be updated to allow dynamic refresh rates. AMD will most likely only provide driver support on their cards. Nvidia might be able to do the same, unless there are architectural differences between the GPUs that will prevent them from taking advantage of it. Of course, they might not want to do that, considering they already have a working alternative.

That said, that monitor does look sweet, G-Sync or not.

Ah yes! I know of that one. I beliebe ASUS is also coming out with a 24" for like 400$. I might buy that one!

Ha. I'm not picking sides. And I'm not even talking about GPUs. But for a few hundreds more than a comparable monitor... FreeSync could work with both Nvidia and AMD, and save you a 100$. What's not to like? Of course, only time will tell if the "free" alternative will compare to Nvidia Gsync.
