Solution
Exactly, I reckon op should go withhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-ATX-550-Power-Supply/dp/B004RJ8EKI/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1389739191&sr=1-1&keywords=xfx+550 andhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-HD7790-Retail-PCI-E-Graphics/dp/B00C981M5I/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1389739343&sr=1-1&keywords=7790+2gb - apologies for Amazon links just easy to find on tablet and together around £160 can drop to a 7770 or 650 ti if budget is firm.

An R9 270 is my suggestionhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Express-Boost-Graphics-DP-Dual/dp/B00GN62R9C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1389736333&sr=8-2&keywords=r9+270 ok scrap that since you edited your post. What about a nvidia 660?

Yep that's a great card, what's the rest of your system like? I assume good. What are the rail values on that PSU not sure if its a true 850W. Update: has a fairly poor reputation from what I've read, recommend upgrading this to a good manufacturer like xfx,corsair,seasonic, pc power and cooling. Before upping the gpu for safeties sake

in this case we couldn't care less about the total

we are after the 12v values

(we need the full model number)

+3.3V = 24A +5V = 30A +12V1 = 34A +12V2 = 34A +12V3 = 34A +12V4 = 34A -12V = 0.5A +5VSB those are the numbers, I just don't trust it's lack of amazon reviews and the fact all the forum chatter is negative. Do not approve of putting a costly gpu in with this psu assuming its this PSUhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Artic-Supply-Featuring-Floppy-PCI-Express/dp/B009S9832Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1389737912&sr=1-1&keywords=artic+850w+psu. Also there's no way a proper 850w PSU would have only one pcie connector something's fishing.

Those stats are bull.

Watts =volts*amps

So would be 900 watts just on 12v

Now it will probably have shared rails but I have no idea without looking into the unit.

The specs are very fishy
