can i run dayz and battlefield 4 at very high settings

i wanted to know if my pc could run dayz or battlefield 4 on very high settings because i am getting those games.

my cpu is: amd a8 6600k 3.9ghz (can be overclocked to 4.2)

my gpu is : gigabyte oc edition r9 270x

i have 8gb ram

and a 500 watt psu

i dont try aim for 70fps or more if it can play at least at 30-40 frames i am fine

I have the same GPU and run them all on good settings at decent frames. Just be aware dayz is still in alpha so use the settings which frankie shows on his first episode to his standalone series, looks so nice with no lag at all!

when you say good settings what do you mean high very high or low and also what gpu do you have

The R9-270X is the Radeon HD 7870. You should be fine at medium-high settings but I don't know about Ultra settings with AA maxed out. I think that's more in the HD 7970(R9-280X) / R9-290(X) range.

I concur, I had the 7870, then 7870 in crossfire. single card i'd get 40-60 fps in bf4 on high, but if anything blew up in background or if a lot going on it'd dip below 30 fps, happens so often I had to put it down to medium. Which is why I tried crossfire. Problems with crossfire, so now I have gtx 770, plays high at 40-60 with the dips and well above overall.

So id say medium, lucky if you hit high settings, without aa.

Probably yes, but don't expect great (40+ fps) performance all the time.
