I have this problem with graphics cards that will not stop and I have decided to make another thread about this to go into more detail.
My System:
MSI 975x Platinum PowerUp Edition
MSI ATI AMD Radeon HD 7770
Nvidia Geforce 7300 GT (I'll explain why two gpu's)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 @ 1.86 GHz
8 GB DDR2
630 watt PSU
Windows 7 64 bit
So my problem is...
When ever I get a new GPU, I go into safemode, uninstall drivers, then put in new card, turn on, and (if works) install those drivers.
But this has only worked with a GeForce GTX 610
Other than that it hasn't. Other times it would POST upon install, and then not continue after the black screen after POST. Usually PCI bus settings would flash and then windows starts.
To get past this problem, I have to have my 7300 gt installed as well as the other card. I'm not sure why this works but it does so I go with it.
I would like to solve this so i do not need 2 GPUs that are conflicting, I also dont want the 7300 to screw things up. Thanks in advance.
