My friend recently purchased a prebuilt system from ibuypower.
He has a i7 4770k 16 gb ram, and nvidia gtx 770.
It just arrived today and he just got off work and called me on skype saying that when he turns it on but nothing it poppping up on his display, i asked him how he had it connected and he said via hdmi cable on the card, so i told him to try the vga connection via the motherboard and he did and changed his display to the vga setting but stilll nothing connected to the display, i told him to check all the connections to the display and after nothing happened when he checked them i told him to look in the case and look for any loose mother board cables and to make sure the cpu power was plugged in properly but still nothing is working. i have told him to restart the computer multiple times now. what could be the issue?
He also says there's faint whinning from the psu when he shuts down the system but it stops when he unplugs it, or when he powers on the system i thold him that its probably just coil whine, but im not an expert.
