what is the best processor for my hp p7-1257c

Im looking to upgrade my computer for streaming to like twitch and and youtube and i want to upgrade my processor but i dont know what to buy and i dont want to spend a whole bunch of money either. If anyone can help i would thank you a whole bunch.

Yes, time to buy a new computer.

Make sure it's good enough. These computers you get from HP or its competitors are designed for lowest cost. They don't make it easy to upgrade parts.
For example when you want to upgrade one of those for gaming you usually hit a lot of walls - the case is too small to fit a powerful graphics card, the PSU is too weak to feed it, the cooling is too weak to cool it, etc.
 


No. It's not on the motherboard's CPU-support list. It may work but there's no guarantee. Also, it's only 8% faster than what you have. Personally I like to upgrade parts when the replacement is at least 50% faster. Your mileage may vary, but 8% is really too low to be worth it.
