I am new to building PCs and this will be my first. My main use and reason for getting a pc is for BF4. After looking around id like to be able to play high to ultra hd settings with around an average of 60 fps. I've been looking around on this website at different setups and tried to get a feel for what i want. My parts list is here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2BuBr

Id like to know if this system will be able to do what i want. Also if it will be a solid computer for years to come. Im trying not to spend more than a 1000 so if theres any areas i can save id appreciate it. Thank you for all input.

Hi Haasman, well this should play BF4 on the setup you want, however there is likely to be a slowdown with future games, because of the cpu. Now I do not want to say, that FX 8320 is a bad cpu (price to performance is actualy VERY good), but given the fact, that you have geforce 780...

Well it is kinda like a tricycle with a rocket engine (or in this case octocyle, with a very small wheels, if that makes sense...). You will have to OC the FX a fair bit, to keep it up for a while.

Alright yea i can see that when buying a $150 cpu compared to a $500 gpu. I just learned to pick gpu first and 780 seemed like the very best i could get right now. But i guess its also not very smart to spend half of your budget on just one component. So i will prbly go with the 770 for now to keep the gpu and cpu closer matched if Im correct. Thanks.

yes, as eden said..

for the saved money you can go with i5 4670k, which will (arguably) last longer and decent Z87 montherboard. Maybe if you can get r9 280x (asus one is probably the best) for decent price, it might be a better pick for the price then 770 (unless youre in US, where the prices for radeons went crazy that it..)
