Im planning on getting an alienware with these specs. Would this be good enough to run latest games(hopefully max graphics) and also record them without lag? If it cant run it in ultra settings whats the best it can run them and record them? Last question, would it be good to render videos at a good speed?
Specs:
Core i7 2670QM 2.2gHz processor ( 8 CPU's) (overclockable)(3.1 with turbo boost)
16gbs DDR3 RAM
TWO- Nvidia GeForce GTX 580m 1gb Dedicated GPU's
TWO- 500 GB Hard Drives 7200 RPM
Windows 7
Thanks in advance!!

Solution
a few of the protocols are probably a couple generations old in the 500 series so that might hurt rendering, etc. You'll have to lower graphics to record, which is that same with any card pretty much, unless shadowplay is supported on the 500 series which I am unsure of.
