Hello I'm planning to buy a new GPU
NVidia GeForce GTX 650 1GB GDDR5/128-Bit PCI-e D-Sub/DVI-I/HDMI
or
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 7750 2GB DDR3

is those compatible with my motherboard:
ECS MCP61M-M3

Yes, only thing a mobo needs to be compatible with a GPU is a pcie x16 slot. Either of those cards will suit you fine. Those GPUs are similar, I'd go with the 7750.

for gpu's, as long as the card and the motherboard are both pci-e, then it should be fine. another thing to consider is the psu esp for high end gpu's (for low end, not so much but not recommended). a good psu is always recommended.

for your case, yes both are compatible

Why not get the asus 7770 its only a few dollars more at 89 bucks with rebate at newegg and will give you more gpu power then the 7750 ... Something to think about.
