Hi everyone.

Can anyone please help with this: If I want to display 1600x900 resolution on a 27 monitor, will the result be the same on 1920x1080 vs 2560x1440? Or will the higher resolution be better at displaying non-native resolutions?

Will the 1920 give coarser or more distorted image (I think this happens when you display a resolution that is a little bit lower than the native)? will the 2560's higher native pixel count be more able to display the non-native image (because more real pixels are used to display each non-native pixels)?

Can someone who has a 27 with 2560 or 1920 try this?

Well all of those resolutions are 16:9 aspect ratios so they will actually fit nicely together. The 2560x1440 will most likely look worse at 1600x900 because each pixel will be that much larger so the image will be more coarse.
