Hello

When i was building my configuration the discovery of these website and the helpfulness of it's members proved itself to be extremely useful and reliable. Because of that i have come back with an issue that i have recently had occurring to me. I hope to find answers and solutions once more..

A while back ago I have purchased a set of 4 DDR3 memory sticks.
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 Desktop Memory Model CMZ16GX3M4A2400C10

They are installed on the following motherboard:
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard with 3-Way SLI/CrossFireX Support and UEFI BIOS

In conjunction with SLI 2x nVidia 660ti video cards.

PROBLEM: It occurred when i rebooted my computer today, a loud noise chimed from the motherboard and after entering my BIOS password to proceed with Windows booting it gave me the following message
[Memory OK Succeeds in booting, save settings in BIOS]

Then i try to enter the BIOS and all i get is black screen. No cursor no nothing. Just a black screen and it sits there.
On my motherboard there are red digital numbers showing [99]

I restarted my computer, and the same thing kept occurring.
I removed the memory sticks leaving only 1 in, i still couldn't access my BIOS. I even tried restarting the CMOS, without any result.
Keep note that i have a password prompt setup from my BIOS that would not allow to proceed with Windows Boot unless entered.
Though, now i can't enter BIOS at all even if i want to remove the password or change any BIOS settings whatsoever.

After several attempts i got lucky and the [MEMORY OK...] message did not show up, and my WINDOWS booted safely. Computer seems to be working okay for now..

I am asking for advise on how to avoid this in future, and how do i enter my BIOS?
There is an ASUS application called AI Suite II with which i checked some of my hardware voltage and frequencies. Not sure if it will be of any help to you with which you can instruct me on how to proceed, but i will post several screenshots of the application's monitoring

I did a little bit of research myself but i am not quite sure in my findings. It seems that for some reason my RAM memory is running with 1.5v when it's rated for 1.65v. Now i can only see that from the ASUS application, since i am not able to access my BIOS.

I have uploaded 5 screenshots in a tiny album at imgur. which you can find here - http://imgur.com/a/gPzVt

I hope to see some replies.
Thank you very much in advance!

Solution
Try resetting the CMOS, directions in your mobo manual, or remove the mobo battery for a couple minutes with the PSU unplugged, (will have to reset system time and date again)

Sounds like you set it to 2400 and it didn't like it, so it rebooted through, prob 3 times and wouldn't take so it reverted it to the mobo default of 1333, and is prob now running at that, the 8350 commonly might be able to carry a couple sticks of 2133, and a few maybe 2400....best bet might be to try going into BIOS and look for DOCP or EOCP or XMP and enabling that and trying at 1866, then if no go there at 1600....AMD CPUs (the 8350) is rated up to 2 sticks of 1866 and as mentioned some can run 4

The problem is, it was set at i think 1866 for months now. I built this rig almost a year ago and it's been working fine with 4 sticks.

And the issue is i can not Access BIOS to change any of the settings. Whenever i try to do so, the screen goes black completely and nothing happens.
