Another question for the gurus.

I have a Vertex 2 SSD as my boot drive for Win 7/64. This drive i also use for games, Starcraft and Supreme Commander. Im using two WD green 3tb drives and two WD Black 1tb drives for storage.
I have a little money left.
Would i gain anything by getting a better SSD and putting the games on that and keep the Vertex 2 as the boot drive, or does read write speed not really affect game performance.
How would you guys set it up
Thanks

As mentioned above there is usually little benefit beyond loading times. Sometimes games are written in a way in which resources are not loaded to memory until they are used (e.g. Diablo 3). In this rare instance an SSD can help smooth out a loading 'spike' but it won't increase your typical frame rate or responsiveness. Just in case you aren't aware, SC2 is a CPU hog.

Thanks Noise
Current Mobo is. Rampage 111 Extreme and a I7-950. Do you think SC would see any benefit if i went too a 1150 socket board like the MSI Z87-GD65 and a I7-477K processor

Based purely on sc2 benchmarks between ivy bridge i3 and i5, and looking at your cpus position in the hierarchy it is reasonable to expect some increase in fps. However there is limited value in an i7 over an i5 so unless you need a lot of hyperthreaded cores for something like video encoding then the cost is hard to justify. Equally if you aren't going to overclock, don't waste your money on a K chip/Z mobo. That said, if you're rich as hell ... Why not!
