Which CPU is better and why?

Hey there Toms Hardware,

Im currently stuck between these two CPUs for gaming computer.
AMD Black Edition - AMD FX 8350 € 172,88
Intel Core i5 4670K / 3.4 GHz - 6 MB cache € 194,89

Which one will perform better with;
MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB -OR- Sapphire R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 TOXIC - Graphics Card
MSI 970A-G46 - Mobo
Corsair CX750M - PSU

Which one, and why ?
Does something else need to be changed, if so, what?

Well the MSI mobo is only for the AMD CPU, so you'll need z87 board for the 4670k. Having said that, and having had AMD cpus up until the switch to a 3570k I would say that the Intel is a superior CPU, unless you have to have the cores for video editing, rendering etc then you might have the AMD to save money over an intel i7.

All combinations are good .GTX 770 is on par with R9 280X , even a bit faster , in general .i5 4670(K) is better for gaming but FX 8350 is not very bad .

i d prefer
cpu i5 4670
mobo Asus Z87-K
ram 2x4 GB 1.5 V 1600GHz DDR3 240 pin CAS 9
gpu MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozr (for instance)
