Hi, after discovering recently that my PC games were not using my GTX 760 but rather a Intel HD graphics card, I then looked online and saw that I had to disable the Intel card through the device manager. This caused my monitor to go black. I restarted my pc and was only able to go into the bios and was not able to go into the pc OS at all! I then didn't know what to do and when into the Intel settings and clicked the Discrete setting when it first was on the auto setting thinking it would solve it! Now my monitor shuts down after loading but it won't go into the actual pc or show the windows menu at the start so I can't go into the bios! Please help! I know I stuffed up big time but this is my first pc!

Windows 8.1

To use the discrete GTX760 you will have to connect the monitor cable to the card. If you were using the Intel HD it happens through the motherboard ports which can not display from the card and should disable when a working card is correctly installed with PCIe power from the PSU.

Did you change where the monitor was connected from the motherboard to the discrete graphics card?
