Is there much difference in buying a MicroATX case, compared to a mid tower case?

I'm looking to build my own PC and having had build previously in full size cases that take up room, will there be any problems if I down size to a microATX?

I've already found a motherboard that fits this size, there are enough hard-drive slots,etc... I just thought i'd ask before buying.
Thanks

there shouldnt be any problems if you go to a smaller case, its just personal preference i guess

Mid-tower case fits ATX and Micro-ATX size motherboards.
Mini-tower case fits Micro-ATX motherboards.

Thanks, shouldn't affect air flow should it? with having the fan placed correctly, etc...

if your fans are placed well, airflow shouldnt be a problem.
