Hi,I'm having 3 case fans inside my cabinet, and I'm afraid I'll have to connect 2 of them directly to the PSU since my new mobo-Asus B85M-G has only 1 case fan header. So I thought I could use a fan hub. Here, this is what I'm looking at:
http://www.snapdeal.com/product/deepcool-fan-hub/117757...
So basically,I was wondering what is meant by it saying," Controls up to 4 PWM fan speed". I know power fan is sort of PSU fan. But what confuses me is, will this thing control the case fan as well? Or is it just the power fan? Will that mean my case fans will be rotating at full speed,in which case I'd simply be wasting my money on this thing? Please help me.
Thanks.

what it means is it splits the pmw single so all the fans can be controled by teh fan header and also hello again from the xeon thread ;)

Yeah,the Xeon thread LOL :D
And,I know it controls, but what I'm asking is,does it control CASE FANS? Or is it just PWM FANS that it controls?

no only pwm fans unless the motherboard uses voltage based fan control

Ooo..That's bad... So that means my fans will be rotating at full speed? That'll be like spending my money to buy junk. But anyway,I could get rid of those connections to the PSU. :p

well yes it wont do anything unless their pwm fans. your other options are A a front bay fan controler in the 5.25in bay b manualy seting the fans at 7v or c buying a mqt balancer which is expensive and hard to use

Well, how to set the fans manually to 7V???? Guess that could help me deal with the noise problem.

use a 4 pin molex to three pin adapter and just pull the tow middle (Ground) pins nad conect the wires to the two outer pin (5v and 12v) yeild 7v

Thanks. But it would taste a lie if I said I understood that clearly.. :p
Could you please explain the pulling out part clearly? I need to pull out the middle pins? Well I suppose that's from the end of fan's cable. Is that right? Sorry about my stupidity. I'm actually indifferent to tweakings like this :D

well most spesifly on the fan hub side you need to pull the pin thats in one of the middlsite two positions and move it to the outer possition that is free on the molex end

Thanks bro...You gave me the idea... :)  I saw that in a picture, the connection...Thanks again...But in between,I heard such connection could damage my PSU...Is that true?

They say current returns back to PSU if such a connection is made, and hence is harmful to the PSU. True??

well a it does nommater what becuase that is what the ground pin does and second i doubt a few watts feeding back will damage a mutli hundred watt psu
