i don't have wifi at home so can i use my computer to give away a wifi connection i am currently using a 3g dongle to go internet if i get my self a usb wifi network adaptor then can i use it to set up a wifi connection in my computer to create a network for my iphone and ps3 to login

Yes, there are alot of cheap routers, you could get a Linksys E1200 and connect your devices, they're easy to configure! You need an Internet service provider first though
