Computer hard restarting while playing Games, No Warning...

I've been looking through Toms Hardware for a solution for quite some time now...

I built my computer around 3 years ago and have had some issues with it shutting down ONLY when I play games. So if I'm not playing games my computer will be fine no matter what it can run for days without issues...

So recently I upgraded from a 6970 to a 780ti
Although I'm sure this can't be the issue since I had it before I upgraded.

So If I play games, Any game. E.g. ArmA 3 or Wargame Airland battle, after (Timed) 1.30-4.00 minutes my computer will shutdown and restart like someone pulled the plug, no warning or error and in the event viewer it shows as a Kernel Generic failure so not giving much away there.

So before I installed my GPU I thought it would be a good idea to put new thermal paste on my CPU, it used to run extremely hot playing games, sometimes up to 98c on CPU intensive games. And since I put the thermal paste on its down to 30-50c on load so that has been resolved. But when my computer would restart before on the startup it would say CPU overtemp, making me think that was the issue... Which now I can see its not.

I'm almost certain it isn't RAM because it's more likely to give out warnings rather than shut the whole system down... I've replaced the GPU to a 780ti so that can't be the issue, and I've resolved my CPU Cooling issue... Now It must boil to 2 other problems PSU or Mobo?

Old System specs (Still had the issue on this spec)
i7 2600k @ Stock no OC - Would run up to 98c
8GB G-Skill RAM x2 Sticks
HIS ATi 6970
asus p8z68-v pro
Atrix 800W Silent PSU

New System Spec
i7 2600k @ Stock No OC - Dosen't see above 60c
8GB G-SKill RAM @ 1333MHz 2 Sticks
EVGA 780Ti
ASUS P8Z68-V Pro
Atrix 800W Silent PSU

Now like I said I originally thought it was a cooling issue which I resolved and then found out it wasn't or there was some longer lasting damage that I was unaware of... Although I don't see any when I looked at my CPU and I'm sure it would give out some errors....

Now this is where it hits me...
I can run multiple stress tests from FurMark to 3DMark and it WILL NOT crash, but on Games it will.. It seems like the only game it dosen't effect is Flight Simulator X...

With so many errors except Generic Kernels, It really puts me down to the PSU, I've ran Asus diagnostic tests and passed green all the way through...

But what I really don't understand it why crash on a game and not a Stress tester, even though Furmark draws way much more power and heat from my GPU and CPU than any game I play does?

Any ideas, If any can help me fix this I'll be forever grateful...

Solution
Yes, that Corsair would power an SINGLE GPU. And, although not what manufacturers recommend wattage wish, in practice it will actually power just about any DUAL GPU setup. (I use Corsair HX850's to run Crossfire 7970's and a GTX690 and they run cool n quiet no problems...)

I Should also add that before when it would restart it would give me an error on startup saying CPU Overtemp like I stated above, now it does not it just restarts...

And should also add, That for a period of time, this error went away... So I started around a year or 2 ago, and went away for maybe 9 months and came back prior to installing my 780ti.... could it then be my OS causing the issue?

Any ideas, I've just managed to play Flight simulator for the past 4 hours no issues, Just seems like any other game causes my PSU to shut down or my mobo to play up?

Everytime I crash I get these errors

Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications.

Warning 16/01/2014 16:46:12 SharedAccess_NAT 34005 None

Critical 16/01/2014 16:45:25 Kernel-Power 41 (63)

And also an event 26

Which it looks like someone else has... http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/kernel-processor-power-26-4-computer-shuts-down/bb19c619-b3ec-4826-8ac1-195ecec0bb99?tab=question&status=AllReplies#tabs

Explain 42A and Rails... PSU and Mobos aren't my strong point... So am I underpowering my GPU? But surely that wouldn't cause a hard restart but merely a slow down in performance?

Having a supply that is not up to the task will most certainly cause random hard system crashes. It can even destroy your system due to these abrupt shut downs.

It will never "slow" your system it either works, or it doesn't there is no slowing down due to inadequate power supplies.

Single rail is the way in which the power supply is designed and constructed. Corsair supplies follow the NVidia required design of "Single Rail".......

You need a supply that provides at least 42A (42 Amps on that rail)

Here's an example supply (it supplies 53A on a Single rail and will support your GPU..)

So, Forgive my ignorance, Would this power supply have the same cables coming out of it as my current one, how do they work when it comes to having the same amount of SATA cables blah blah

But does it have the same cables for say, the lights on the power buttons on my case that kind of stuff?

So anyone else have any input on this?
What I don't understand that IF it is the PSU, why will my computer not crash out on a Burn test or stress test for RAM/CPU/GPU? This is what I really cannot understand?

But he has enough power on the Rails to power the EVGA 780Ti Correct?
