I recently had gone to buy a Lenovo laptop for my friend. There I found a Lenovo laptop having 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 as CPU giving about 2.5 Ghz with turbo upto 3.1 Ghz. But instead of showing 4 cores it shows 2 cores in Windows 8. I know that according to Intel technology, Core i5 does not have hyperthreading, but it is not that they do not have false 4 cores, they have 4 true cores with 4 threads. Is this a drawback from Intel or is the laptop showing wrong information about the CPU?
