how to fix a faulty power supply

i have a gigabyte ga-g41m combo motherboard that continuously beeps and according to the beep code guide that i have found on one of the posts it seems to be a power supply problem how can i fix this without actually changing the power supply itself.

I was gonna ask - do you want to actually FIX the problem, or just not know about it?

fix - replace power supply
not know - smash the little beeping speaker with a hammer
