I was looking to get an MSI board for a new PC build using the i7-4960X. I have heard that the MSI board may not be the best choice and I was looking at the ASUS X79 Deluxe, or maybe a similar ASUS board. I would like for it to have PC 2400 Support (which i would assume any LGA 2011 board would have) and idealy i would like for the board to have some sort of easy OC feature. One of the reasons I like MSI is because of the OC Genie feature. I know it sounds silly but I am a software guy, working with video editing and 3D design, with not so much hardware experience.
Any feedback you guys can give me will be really appreciated. Thanks a lot!
