Is it safe to run 1.65v memory on an i5-4760k?

I bought the Kingston Hyperx ram and then noticed that it was 1600@1.65v.

I'm using an Asus Z87-A motherboard and it says it is compatible with this specific memory in the manual.

It also woks when I boot the system. My only concern is that the 1.65V would shorten the life of the cpu.

Is this a real concern and is it a good idea to lower the voltage in the bios?

Thanks

1.5 is preferable, 1.65 on 1600 can be indicative of the sticks having weak ICs (memory chips) - why else would they require 1.65 to run at 1600 when over 85% of all 1600 sticks even true high performance sticks run fine on 1.5 and can even OC

It's fine
